Tour de Pêche | Big Charity Night
The Tour de Pêche Big Charity Night at The Duke of Wellington was a resounding fundraising success with a whopping £4,100 raised!
It was a fun and entertaining night with live music courtesy of The Acoustic Flyers, a raffle and a silent auction.
There are a lot of charitable people and generous local businesses to thank for contributing to the fantastic sum that was raised for the community Intergenerational Music Group which is going to be set up and led by The Loop later this year.
To get the ball rolling with the show of gratitude thank you to The Duke of Wellington pub for hosting the event and donating some prizes for the raffle and thank you also to Peach Pubs for supporting the cause.
The following all very kindly donated prizes for the raffle and lots that went under the hammer in the auction – Lindsey Philpott, Rob Elliot, Accuro Residential, Tiffany Budd Fine Art, The Surrey Pumas, Sandown Park Golf Centre, Movewell Fitness, Grange Park Opera, F. Conisbee & Son, Dobbe’s Florist, Harvey & Brockless, Liberty Wines and Silent Pool Gin.
Thank you to The Loop volunteers Sarah and Taren for helping out.
And thank you to all who came on the night to support the event, Tour de Pêche and The Loop!
A selection of photos from the night are on The Loop’s Facebook page.
With the fantastic amount that was raised the grand total in the Tour de Pêche pot is tantalisingly close to the £10,000 target. Well done Sian and Joe!
Sian and Joe will be setting off on their epic ride to Paris (and back) from The Duke of Wellington on Sunday 15th May at 9:00am. To help them edge over the 10K mark online donations can be made on the Tour de Pêche JustGiving page.
