Managing to Lead | The Training Day

Yesterday’s Managing to Lead training day was a real success.

We’ve received some really positive feedback.

A set of photos from the day can be viewed on The Loop’s Facebook page.

Time for a show of gratitude! Various thank yous are in order for having made this event possible.
First and foremost thank you to Jonathan from the Awaken Group for freely and so generously offering this training day on leadership, through The Loop, to care charities and voluntary organisations.

Thank you also to Signpost Financials for kindly sponsoring all the lovely food and refreshments which enabled us to make this a free event. Food that included some Delightfully Decadent treats, which we can assure were, as the name suggests, delightfully decadent!

A special mention to Wendy, at the venue, the West Clandon Royal British Legion Club for being so helpful.

And last but, by no means least, thank you to our merry band of volunteers – Lyn, Taren and Kasia for helping out with setting up, preparing and serving the food and drinks and packing up at the end of a long but successful and enjoyable day.

Yesterday’s Managing to Lead training day was oversubscribed. However, we have opened up a new list with the names of those who couldn’t attend due to the course being full. We intend to run the training day again in the new year. Details to be confirmed later this year.

If you are interested and would like to add your name to the list now email Ingrid – hello@theloop.org.uk – stating your name, the organisation that you work for and your role.

To those that came yesterday it was great to meet you all and we hope that you will find the practical takeaways and tools from the course of use in your day to day roles supporting the care sector in Surrey.
