Would you like to volunteer on a community allotment project that provides a safe haven for people who are socially isolated?
Do you enjoy gardening, green spaces, tea, cake and meeting new people?
The Surrey Care Trust Gateway Allotment project, based in Earlswood near Reigate, aims to help anyone at risk of isolation and the long-term unemployed to make positive changes by developing practical skills and to benefit from the therapeutic benefits of gardening. Surrey Care Trust are looking for volunteers to join them on the allotment to carry out practical jobs and help to support their clients.
