PRINCESS ALICE HOSPICE

Man Shed Session Leader

Princess Alice Hospice

It can feel daunting for men to open up about their experiences with bereavement. That’s why Princess Alice Hospice have built their Man Shed and they are looking for a Man Shed Session Leader to lead on sessions

The Man Shed provides a safe, inviting space for men who are coming to terms with a life-limiting illness, or have experienced bereavement and are looking for a more practical alternative to traditional bereavement support services. The Man Shed gives men, bereaved women, and young people a space to learn, work on a project, or practice a practical skill (such as woodwork) all with the aim of bringing people together and providing a valuable support network.
